We have a new Chewbacca for the prequel trilogy! Peter Mayhew, who has previously played Chewbacca in the Star Wars movies to date, suffers from ill health due to his height and passed off some of the more "active" scenes to a new actor:
Joonas Suotamo, a 29 year old Finnish native played some of the Chewbacca scenes in The Force Awakens. See more on the actor
